The Sacrament of Matrimony
Marriage in the Catholic Church is the "covenant by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, and which is ordered by its nature to the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring.” Marriage "has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament between the baptized."
The Sacrament of Matrimony at Transfiguration
For those wishing to be married at Transfiguration, please contact the Parish Office at least nine months prior to the desired date of the ceremony. Once you have contacted the Office, a tentative date will be reserved and a meeting will be scheduled with our Pastor. At this initial meeting with the Pastor, your ceremony date will be confirmed and you will receive the information needed to prepare for the Sacrament.
