Giving Tree and More!

Giving Tree

"Giving Tree…and More!" information and collection areas will be available in the gathering space. This yearly opportunity gives us a wonderful chance to be generous to those in need in our own community.

Ornaments
Ornaments are available on the trees in the display; gifts are listed on each ornament and you may select one (or more) ornaments to take with you. These gift requests come from our Giving Tree hotline, and the ornaments are coded so we may get the gifts to the families who have requested them.

Please follow the instructions on the information sheet by the tree; you may bring the gifts (please include ornament tag) to church any time the parish is open, but all gifts must be brought back by December 6 so they can be organized for gift pickup.

Food Collection
This year's food collection will benefit both the Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf and the North St. Paul Food Shelf. There is a handout outlining most-needed food items. Donations can be dropped off at church during open hours from November 15 - December 6. Transfiguration School students are also collecting in the classrooms; school families will receive their instructions for food collection through school communications.

Options for Women East
This year, Options for Women East has set up an Amazon Gift Registry, where items ranging from winter
outerwear to toys to clothing and more are listed conveniently, with pictures! It is easy to follow the giving link (https://a.co/3WSB4xj), select an item, choose whether to have it wrapped or not, and even have it directly sent to Options! (Options for Women East address: 891 White Bear Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106). You can also drop off items at church, or at Options during their open hours (see their website for information). Be sure to check out this new way of giving - especially handy for those who do not want to shop in-person this year.

For more information, be sure to visit our parish website; THANK YOU all for your generous gifts to our brothers and sisters in need this Christmas!
