Hebrews Bible Study

  • Tuesday mornings 9-10:30 a.m.

Presented by Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins, Hebrews: The New and Eternal Covenant draws out the riches of this sublime book in a way that makes them easier to understand. It draws connections between the Old and New Testaments, the Liturgy, the Eucharist, the priesthood, and so much more. Most importantly, Hebrews will help Catholics appreciate the astounding generosity of God as they see the wonders he has given us in the Church.

This study is perfect for those who have:

  • never studied the Bible before
  • taken other Bible studies in the past
  • already studied The Bible Timeline but want to experience salvation history in a more profound way

Benefits of the Study

  • Study the Bible from a Catholic perspective and see how our faith is rooted in Sacred Scripture.
  • See how the events in the Old Testament are fulfilled in the New Testament by Christ and the Church.
  • See how God reveals himself through Scripture and learn how it applies to our lives today.
  • Gain a greater understanding of the readings heard at Mass.
  • Develop a life-long hunger for knowing God in his word and lay a strong foundation for further Bible reading and study.

“Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.” St. Jerome
