Julie Pepin was a member of Transfiguration Parish for 27 years, and the first woman coach in school history.
She coached softball from 1961 to 1971, and coached as many as three teams in one season. Julie’s philosophy was that, "It’s not if you win or if you lose, but how you play the game".
She was committed to teamwork, sportsmanship, inclusiveness, fairness, playing hard, and having fun.
The teams she coached won several CAA Championships and sportsmanship honors.
