  • To request anointing, call the Parish Office at 651-738-2646.

Many of us remember the days when one received the Sacrament of Anointing only once, thus the term “Last Rites.” The Church’s teaching regarding the Sacrament of Anointing has developed over time and, today, the Sacrament of the Anointing the Sick may be received more than once, and for several reasons. Often someone facing a serious surgery will request the Anointing of the Sick. Some may request the Anointing of the Sick when dealing with a difficult diagnosis or when their illness has progressed and treatment options change.

  • Funeral planning takes place during a meeting between the Priest of the Funeral Mass and family members of the deceased. If a Funeral Home is involved in the arrangements, they will assist in scheduling this meeting. If a Funeral Home is not involved in the arrangements, please call the Parish Office directly at 651-738-2646 to schedule a meeting.

  • For those wishing to be married at Transfiguration, please contact the Parish Office at 651-738-2646 at least nine months prior to the desired date of the ceremony. Once you have contacted the Office, a tentative date will be reserved and a meeting will be scheduled with our Pastor. At this initial meeting with the Pastor, your ceremony date will be confirmed and you will receive the information needed to prepare for the Sacrament.
